B- that keto classic: bacon and eggs
Kept me full until around 4 when I was suddenly ravenous and decided I couldnt wait for dinner so had a DGF wrap with guacamole, slice of Turkey breast and h/m sauerkraut. 2 Montezuma’s peanut butter eggs.
D- DD Chicken cordon Bleu casserole with green salad. This is very rich and filling, and coming so soon after my lunch I only ate a few mouthfuls. Even Paul couldn’t finish it.
As an aside, I couldn’t get the smoked ham needed for the recipe so bought a Mattesons smoked sausage instead. Talk about shrinkflation! These used to be twice the size I’m sure.

Day 1 of no nuts, dairy or alcohol

Had an uncomfortable night with stomach pains, but woke really hungry.
20g camembert 20g ham before exercise class (yes I know camembert is cheese and cheese is dairy, but last bit was lurking in fridge and boys won't eat it....must try harder!)

L: suddenly realised I have yoga at 6:30 so decided to try for OMAD but with enough to carry me through to tomorrow. However should have prepared and planned
Ended up with
3 egg omelette with ham, half an avocado, tablespoon coleslaw, 2 m&s flatbreads, one with butter, 50g greek yog with milled linseeds, 2 sqs 85% chocolate, 3 IKEA meatballs

Latter was as I was cooking some to have cold as snacks, and boiled 6 eggs ready too.
App shows Me at 24g carbs. It was the flatbread pushed me over. And reading the ingredients makes me wonder if my recent stomach issues are connected to wheatflour.
Took me over an hour to eat, but I had trouble stopping eating.

Missed my cwc very much.

Tum still uncomfortable

App shows me near enough with protein, just over on carbs but way under on fats. Going to be difficult to up that without dairy. Ideas anyone?

Extra virgin olive oil? Added to some oily fish,? I love sardines in olive oil with extra oil very filling. Salad with more olive oil? Meat with fat on it maybe cook some streaky bacon crisply to eat as snacks to go with your eggs?
edit to add veggies fried in olive oil mushrooms really taste delicious plus I store olives drained from a tin in a glass jar with extra olive oil.

Finished my omad meal at about 14:30.
Did yoga class at 18:30.

Now feeling very hungry, tummy rumbling.
I keep trying to tell myself that's good and my body will have to burn fat instead.
But still struggling to not grab something.
Motivate me please.
What works for you in this situation?

Drinking water (hot or cold) helps me, or black tea or coffee as well.

6.30am - 2 boiled eggs mashed up in a cup with butter. Mug of earl grey tea to get me going for the day ...

elevensies - half of a banoffee bar (high protein, low carb thingy from B & M)

Dinner - prawn cocktail, salmon in a tomato & basil sauce with some salad. Kefir & mixed berries.

Morning all. Well, I fell off the wagon good and proper yesterday! Not proud of myself at all. Told myself that it was ok to have a cheat day once a week but yesterday was a cheat day and a half. Very upset with myself but will try to put it right and jump! back on the wagon. Going for a carvery today with a friend so fingers x'd it will be meat and veg for my Omad. and my small piece of cheese at teatime. Have a good day all.

Just had breakfast of 2 slices Lorne sausage with 2 eggs scrambled with some cream and a slice of cheese melting over the eggs. Some carbs in the sausage, but not much.

FBG was 9.2 today after 7.9 last night. Hoping it will come down a bit today. The breakfast was pretty well keto, after all.

Later will have some sardines in oil and maybe some kind of keto pancake. Should keep the BG down a bit.

Meant to leave the sardines until later, but was too hungry so I just had them about 2.30. Still hungry, so there will be another meal, once Em has gone home - that'll be quite late because her Mum and Dad are with the 11 pups at the vet, getting their final health checks, microchips and vaccinations. It will be a long job. That meal will be the last of the cold chicken, chopped up and heated in some cream. BG steady just over 7 all day on a reduced insulin level.

Black coffee until 1ish then tin of little sprats in olive oil served with small salad followed by a few nuts, small kefir and square of 100% chocolateIMG_20230207_132857.jpg

5ish slow cooked papikra pork served on bed of sweetheart cabbage followed by low carb cake warmed and served with yoghurt.

I've read of chicken mince being used for pizza base, similar I suppose. I haven't tried it, yet
I've had meatza pizzas. M&S had them 2 summers ago and my butcher has had them in the Summer months as well. They are very tasty.
