To make Asparagus With Slivered Garlic, you'll need:
  • 3 cups diagonally-sliced fresh asparagus
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp dry white wine
  • 2 garlic cloves slivered
  • 2 tbsp minced red onion
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 dash salt (optional)

Method

  • Blanch the asparagus for 3 minutes in a pot of boiling water and drain.
