Broiled Ham Steak

Method

  • Choose a precooked center-cut ham steak 1/2-inch thick.
Cut ridges in the fat surrounding ham so that the edges will not curl. Brush each side with 1 teaspoon prepared mustard.Broil ham 3 inches from broiler heat for 3 minutes on each side. Trim fat from outside edges and discard.If you are using fresh ham, broil ham slice 3 inches from broiler heat for 7 to 8 minutes on each side.
