To make Curried Walnut Grain Burgers, you'll need:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1
  • 1/3 cups cooked couscous = (or brown rice)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup minced green onions
  • 1/3 cup fine dry plain bread crumbs
  • 4 sesame seed hamburger buns Honey mustard as needed Thinly-sliced cucumber or apple for serving Alfalfa sprouts for serving

Method

  • Combine eggs yogurt Worcestershire sauce curry salt and red pepper in large bowl; beat until blended
  • Stir in couscous walnuts carrot green onions and bread crumbs
  • Shape into 4 (1-inch-thick) patties.
