To make Date Sandwich Bars, you'll need:
  • 1 cup Dates snipped
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 tsp Orange peel
  • 1 tbsp Orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup Flour
  • 3/4 cup Oatmeal uncooked
  • 1 tbsp Sugartwin or Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 6 tbsp Margarine

Method

  • Have dates at room temperature
  • Slice thin and break up in pan.
