To make Diabetic Apple Crunch, you'll need:
  • 2 slice Dry bread
  • 1 tbsp Diet margarine
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Allspice
  • 3 cup Apples Cored sliced
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup Dietetic maple syrup

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Make crumbs from bread and toast in oven
  • Mix toasted crumbs with margarine cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • Mix apples with lemon juice maple syrup and remainder of allspice; spread in a well-greased shallow baking dish ( approximately 8" round)
  • Cover with crumb mixture; bake 45 minutes or until apples are tender
  • Serve warm
