To make Dill Pickles, you'll need:
  • BRINE
  • 100 qt Cider vinegar
  • 300 qt Cold water
  • 100 c Pickling salt INGREDIENTS PER JAR
  • 100 lg Clove garlic
  • 200 Heads dill
  • 100 sm Red pepper - optional Small cucumbers

Method

  • Pack the garlic dill red pepper and small cucumbers into the hot sterilized jars
  • Bring brine to boil and pour over packed quart jars; seal immediately
  • Let age 2 months
  • Hard water makes soft pickles; soft water makes crispy pickles
  • These pickles were blue ribbon winners at a fair
