Ingredients
To make Field Peas, you'll need:
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 oz fresh chicken or turkey necks
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 lb fresh or frozen field peas
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes Freshly-ground black pepper (optional) to taste

Method

  • In a large stockpot boil the water
  • Add the chicken or turkey necks onion garlic and parsley and boil for 15 minutes.
