Flower Buns

Method

  • About 20 minutes before serving preheat oven to 450 F
  • Grease large cookie sheet
  • Separate biscuits then press each until twice its original size
  • With kitchen scissors make 5 to 6 snips from out edge almost to center
  • Place on cookie sheet and shape "Petals" to form "flower"
  • Repeat with remaining dough
  • Brush each "flower" with milk; sprinkle with poppy seed
  • Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until golden-brown
  • Makes 8
  • 80 calories per bun
  • Bland diet: Prepart as directed but substitute Parmesan cheese for poppy seed
