To make Garden Vegetable Burgers, you'll need:
  • 1 lb ground round
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup tiny capers drained
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 2 ripe plum tomatoes seeded and diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp pepper

Method

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and gently mix them together with your hands or with a fork
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into 1/2-inch-thick patties
  • Place the patties on your prepared grill rack and cook for about 5 minu tes on each side or until they reach the desired degree of doneness.
