To make Hot Grits, you'll need:
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup quick grits
  • 1 tsp salt (optional)
  • 1 tbsp reduced-fat soft margarine

Method

  • Place water in a medium pot and bring to a rapid boil over high heat
  • Gradually add grits and salt whisking constantly
  • Reduce heat and slow boil until grits are done about 5 minutes.
