To make Italian Leafy Green Salad, you'll need:
  • SALAD
  • 2 cups torn romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup torn escarole
  • 1 cup torn radicchio
  • 1 cup torn red-leaf lettuce
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions
  • 1/2 red pepper sliced into rings
  • 1/2 green pepper sliced into rings
  • 12 cherry tomatoes DRESSING
  • 1/4 cup grapeseed oil = (or substitute olive oil if necessary)
  • 2 tbsp minced basil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice Salt to taste Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
