Ingredients
To make Jellied Vegetables In Tomatoes Cases, you'll need:
  • 6 medium Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Gelatin
  • 1/4 cup Cold water
  • 1/4 cup Mild vinegar
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Sugar or sugar sub!!!
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1
  • 1/2 cup Vegetables

Method

  • Directions Hollow out six firm red medium - sized tomatoes and place in refrigerator to chill.
  • Soak gelatine in cold water and dissolve in boiling water.
  • Add vinegar lemon juice sugar and salt and chill.
  • When mixture begins to thicken add a cup and a half of any left - over vegetables cut in small cubes and fill tomato cases.
  • Replace in refrigerator until firm.
  • Serve on a bed of lettuce.
