Ingredients
To make Maple-Glazed Squash, you'll need:
  • 1 large acorn squash cut into fourths and seeds discarded Butter-flavored vegetable cooking spray as needed
  • 1 large tart cooking apple unpeeled cored and sliced
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • MAPLE-FLAVORED SYRUP
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 2
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1
  • 3/4 tsp Equal for Recipes = (or
  • 6 packets Equal sweetener or
  • 1/4 cup Equal Spoonful)
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 1 tsp maple extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Method

  • Place squash cut-sides up in baking pan; add 1/2 cup hot water
  • Bake covered in preheated 400 degree oven until squash is tender 30 to 40 minutes.
