Marti's Apple Crisp

Serves: 6

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Grease a shallow baking dish and place apple slices on bottom
  • Combine water lemon juice and sweetener and pour over apples
  • Combine dry ingredients; cut in margarine until it is the consistency of large peas
  • Sprinkle over apples
  • If desired cover with grated cheese

To make Marti's Apple Crisp, you'll need:
  • 4 Apples cored peeled sliced
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh lemon juice Non-nutritive sweetener = To
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Allspice
  • 3 tbsp Diet margarine
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated (not sure about this: in the book it read as this
  • 1/2 Parmesan cheese grated (you may have to wing it)!
