To make Peach Walnut Spice Cake G, you'll need:
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 1/3 cup Molasses
  • 2
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 Fresh Peaches
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts

Method

  • Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy
  • Beat in eggs then add molasses; beating thoroughly
  • Peel and chop peaches and stir into mixture
  • Combine remaining ingredients and stir into creamed mixture until smooth
  • Pour into greased and floured 9 inch square pan
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until pick inserted into center comes out dry
  • Cut into squares and top with whipped cream and peach slices if desired
  • Makes 1 cake
