To make Pigs in Blankets , you'll need:
  • 1 pack premium pork chipolatas (usually contains 12 cocktail sausages) 
  • 6 rashes of unsmoked English bacon 

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 190°c or Gas mark 5. 
  • Next, halve each rasher of bacon and lengthen each one, flattening and stretching it without tearing, and wrap the bacon in a spiral around the length of the sausage.
  • Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, turning after 15 minutes so that the sausage is cooked through completely. 
  • Before serving, check that the sausage are hot all the way through and that no pink bits remain.
