To make Purple Plums In Red Wine, you'll need:
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp cornstarch = (or arrowroot powder)
  • 4 tsp water
  • 2 cups sliced plums
  • 1 cup fresh sliced figs

Method

  • Combine the sugar wine lemon rind and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan and bring to a boil
  • Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
