To make Quick Chicken And Rice, you'll need:
  • 1 cup uncooked brown rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 skinned split chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder

Method

  • Mix rice onion green pepper and water and put in non-stick 1-quart casserole (or line casserole dish with aluminum foil)
  • Placed halved chicken breasts on top of rice mixture and sprinkle with pepper and garlic powder
  • Bake covered at 350 degrees F
  • f or 45 minutes to 1 hour until rice absorbs all water.
