To make Red Plum Spread, you'll need:
  • 1 lb chopped fresh red plums
  • 3/4 cup cold water divided
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1
  • 1/4 tsp granulated gelatin Sugar substitute equal to
  • 4 tbspns sugar

Method

  • Combine plums with 1/2 cup water and the lemon juice in a heavy saucepan
  • Bring to a boil; simmer gently for about 8 minutes stirring frequently.
