To make Roma Tomato Bisque, you'll need:
  • 2 cans crushed tomatoes - (28 oz ea)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil = (or
  • 1 tspn dried basil)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
  • 1 can low-fat evaporated milk - (12 oz)

Method

  • In a soup pot combine the tomatoes sugar basil garlic powder and pepper; bring to a boil over medium-high heat stirring occasionally.
