To make Slow-Poke Jambalaya, you'll need:
  • 1 Bell pepperchopped
  • 1 Onionchopped
  • 2 Med tomatoeschopped
  • 1 cup Chopped celery
  • 1 Clove garliccrushed
  • 2 tbsp Minced parsley
  • 2 tsp Chopped thyme leaves
  • 2 tsp Oregano leaveschopped
  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 4 oz Smoked sausagechopped
  • 8 oz Chicken breastchopped
  • 2 cup Beef broth or bouillon
  • 1/2 lb Cooked shelled shrimp
  • 1 cup Cooked rice

Method

  • Shell shrimp halve lengthwise
  • In slow cookercombine all ingred
  • except shrimp rice
  • Cover cook on low 9-10 hours
  • Turn slow cooker on high add cooked shrimp cooked rice
  • Cover; cook on high 20-30 minutes
