To make Spaghetti Carbonara, you'll need:
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1/2 lb bacon diced
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan or Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 2 tbsp low-fat (1%) milk
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 dash freshly-ground black pepper

Method

  • Cook the spaghetti according to package directions
  • Drain and keep warm.
