Ingredients
To make Spaghetti Sauce, you'll need:
  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 cl Garlic chopped
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1 can Tomatoes mashed or pureed
  • 1 cup Water or beef broth
  • 1/4 cup Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Dried parsley
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Basil
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

Method

  • Heat oil in a heavy saucepan
  • Saute garlic and onion for three minutes or until limp
  • Stir in tomatoes water and tomato paste
  • Add parsley salt oregano thyme basil cloves and pepper; stir well
  • Bring to a boil reduce heat and simmer stirring occasionally for one hour until sauce is reduced by 1/4.
