Ingredients
To make Tuna Subs, you'll need:
  • 1 loaf French or sourdough bread - (16 oz)
  • 1 can water-packed white tuna - (6 oz) drained
  • 1/3 cup nonfat mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp chopped fresh tarragon Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 leaves romaine lettuce
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs white part only sliced
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes - (abt
  • 1 lb total) sliced thin
  • 4 thin slices dill pickle

Method

  • Cut the bread in half lengthwise
  • Hollow out the bread leaving a 1 inch shell.
