To make Yeast Free Chicken Barley Soup, you'll need:
  • Chicken parts (backs necks - whatever) water
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 pinch Basil
  • 1 cl Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • 4 To
  • 5 scallions chopped
  • 1/2 lb Snow peas
  • 5 Carrots chopped
  • 2 Stalks celery chopped pinch Of thyme oregano; Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 cup Barley

Method

  • Place chicken in soup pot
  • Fill 3/4 ful with water
  • Add bay leaves basil garlic and parsley
  • Cover bring to a boil and simmer 1 hour
  • Meanwhile prepare vegetables
  • sEt aside
  • When chicken is tender remove from pot let cool and remove meat from bones
  • Place meat back into soup pot
  • Add remaining ingredients and simmer as long as possible but for at least 1 more hour.
