What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Hello all - I'm back, at least for today!

Water
Green Tea

Breakfast 3 egg omelette whipped with a spoonful of cream cheese, some spring onion and a few shreds of bacon

Ended up picking all day, not unusual for me at the start of better eating. I made some hardboiled eggs, halved and took out the yolks, whipped up the yolks with cream cheese and bacon bits, a little chilli powder and white pepper then returned the mix to the hollowed egg halves. Not sure if they are called devilled eggs or not, the ones I remember had curry powder in but I didn't want that flavour.

Also had pork crackling and cucumber snacks.

Belly pork bits are cooking now and nearly done, will have some with cucumber for tea.

I will go over to the naughty corner (aka what have you eaten with chat thread) and try to catch up a bit!

Today for lunch I had tinned red salmon low-carb sarnies. The "bread" was a bit odd, I think I prefer the SRSLY brand.

And for dinner I had quite a cheap one. I fried up half a pouch of basmati rice with the last of the mushrooms, chopped smoked frankfurters, some egg bits, onions and peas.

Another hungry day today, which is annoying but can't be ignored cos it hurts. Lots of black coffee. Brunch of home-made soup with leftover chicken. Dinner will be preceded by the Magic Nut bowl and then will be steak with cabbage and cauliflower. Not a wine week, so that's it.

I love the sound of your Magic Nut bowl!

Brunch out today to celebrate eldest daughter’s birthday. 2 Bacon, eggs, 1/2 tomato and a sausage. Wasn’t sure if the sausage might have an effect on BG but no problem. All ingredients locally sourced so will be going back there.
1/2 glass Prosecco and a cup of tea with milk for lunch ( still celebrating her bd!)
Dinner at home was air fried duck breast with buttered cabbage, broccoli and cremated mushrooms. Glass of red.
Photo isn’t true colour - duck was blushingly pink in the middle.
