Haven't been here for ages and it is rude just to lurk so here goes
Same here, but I did make some pics of evening meals in the past 10 days, even though I didn't get to posting.
Clearly I had varying levels of inspiration for cooking, but glad to see that 2/3ds of those meals had veggies, and some of those meals were repeated on multiple days.

Bottom right was a nice surprise over a week ago. I had been cold water swimming and didn't feel like cooking. Raiding the freezer for some sausage to go with my fried egg and cheese I found a pack of fish fingers belonging to my neighbour. He had used my freezer while thawing his, and forgot to put the fish fingers back in his own freezer.
This cold swimming tends to drop me for hours afterwards, so two fish fingers were exactly what I could use!
Two fishfingers seems reasonable in exchange for the use of my freezer. Haven't told him about my fishfinger theft yet though.

Bottom left: rookworst!
A Dutch type of smoked sausage, I'm very sorry you don't have it in the UK.

Furthermore, A leek and blue cheese thing (rookworst doesn't look as pretty when it's microwaved but still tastes good), a soup made with the leftovers of the leek dish and extra onion, and two days of runner beans.

This afternoon I went to the gym with a cold swim right after again.
And again, I didn't feel like cooking afterwards: My sensor had unexpectedly ended right after swimming, and I had the usual drop from the swim, all complicated without a sensor.

So instead of cooking my planned meal I went with two medium boiled eggs on a slic of low carb bread with cheese, not bad at all! :hungry:
Will make a proper meal again tomorrow. :)

Haven't been here for ages and it is rude just to lurk so here goes - and I'm not promoting the 2 linked companies.
Pre - Breakfast: 2 x 750 mls tea with almond milk
Breakfast: KC Bagel with butter
11.30: CWC and monin s/f caramel + tsp Ceylon cinnamon plus KC lemon drizzle cake (1/8th of a cake)
Lunch: H/m Goose n veg soup with NLCK pasta and some ACV
Another 750 mls mug tea with almond milk
Evening meal: KC multi seed roll with 35 gms Cornish cruncher cheese
Cronometer has that at 25.9 gms carbs (based on overestimated weights) and no salad eaten :D
KC is this just in case people wonder
NLCK is here as above
Welcome back and good to see you @ianpspurs just had a peek at Keto Chefs and looks very tempting especially the rolls, bread, keto scones and cinnamon doughnuts! Thank you for the links. I do like trying a new low carb bakery even though my bank balance dosent!

Late morning: black coffee and a phd bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Dinner: gammon steak with a side salad.
I have a reprieve from hospital food, my op planned for tomorrow has been postponed, no anaesthetist available. Should get a new date tomorrow, I am so disappointed :(

I'm disappointed for you. It's a shame after you psyching yourself up in readiness and then not getting to go through with it. Big hug for the disappointment.

Thanks @shelley262 .The scones, blueberry muffins and previous batches of cinnamon doughnuts have all been splendid. The kristmas pudding portioned easily and went well with cream to end the Sunday Goose meal. Hopefully, I will be having a free croissant or 3 to review pre-general release . I've yet to try the mince pie tray bake but have portioned and frozen one. The rolls freeze really well. The bagels and doughnuts freeze well but were hard to tell apart without sniffing the onion powder in the bagels. Latest batch of doughnuts were made with a darker flour. JKP has made both bagels and doughnuts using sugar free Londoner - I think - recipe, The doughnuts need a massive reduction in sweetener but a fairly bitter ganache tamed them The other company have ready meals with very long dates which work well since we have a 93 year old here needing care and run a two county school pickup and child minding service twice a week as well as feeding 4 grandchildren and various parents more carby food. Take care.

Breakfast: bacon and egg. A bit rushed because I had to go out but I had to leave the place ready for my cleaner. She might have arrived before I got back so left the door open for her. In the end, we're back and she hasn't arrived yet - we didn't ake as long as I expected.

Took a correction dose first thing to try to drop my 11.9 reading before I went out. It did. Currently BG is 4.5.

2nd meal: will be chicken curry. No accompaniments.

I weighed myself this morning and, as I thought, have put one pound back on again. I did have a thin slice of wholemeal bread yesterday and half a slice the day before, I think. Other than that, I've had no starchy carbs - only carbs in the few vegetables I've had. Have to make sure not to have any more bread and make sure my veg are all above the ground ones. :depressed:

Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.
An interesting day.
My Keto bakery order arrived. Then realised all had a short shelf life. 4 days and didn't have enough room in freezer!
Anyway a few changes.
Coffee and cream
Coffee and unsweetened almond milk
Corned beef
Dairy Free 'Panda' chocolate cake. 1 slice. Small and delicious. 3 slices left.
Panda wrap with cream cheese and cherry tomatoes Felt wrap was a bit wet!
Two hours after cake B/S 6.1
Just nice to have a bit of a change as can't eat normal at all of cakes and wraps.
For all that food carb count still only 20.3 for the day

Haven’t managed to post for a few days so I’ve missed loads. it’s nice to see you back @ianpspurs . @Rachox I’m so sorry about your delayed op, I can understand your disappointment when you’ve psyched yourself up for it.
@maglil55 the featherblade steak looks great, I’d forgotten about it.
2 fairly similar meals today for me.
Lots of black coffee all morning. Early lunch started with a handful of almonds then an air fried skinny rib beef strip ( a beefy version of belly pork).
Dinner- grass fed rump steak (from same local farm as lunch beef) with Halloumi and sautéed veg. 2 glasses red.

@ianpspurs I dreamt of cinnamon doughnuts last night im not usually tempted by donuts as I really did not ever like sugary and iced doughnuts but did like plain cinnamon ones so I made an order to Keto chef this morning for their keto cinnamon ones and also ordered bread and cheese scones plus their Xmas pudding ( my first Christmas related food purchase but and will pop in freezer when arrives!) Look forward to trying them in a few days and will report back. I currently buy and eat keto rolls from DGF so will be interesting to see which I prefer. They are similar price.
Today's food:
B kefir then fried one slice of bacon and egg served with one slice of LC bread - finishing off my hey lo bread which is ok but will be interesting to compare with KC bread on order
L sauerkraut with four lc seeded crackers and piece of gambazola cheese then three squares of 90% chocolate
D hm chilli with LC garlic bread and glass of red wine.
Edit good to see you back @DJC3
2nd edit exciting news for me just had notification from Keto Chef that Royal Mail will be delivering my keto goodies tomorrow morning yay

I feel some pressure now you've ordered from Keto Chefs. Hopefully the cinnamon doughnuts will be more like the usual ones.

Will let you know but it's a long long time since I tasted the real full sugar version - probably about 8 years when gave up sugar on diagnosis !So I'm certain I'll enjoy.

10.30am slice of sourdough toast with butter and smooth Brussels pate. (Think toasting really does work to lower sugar content as BG didn't rise higher than 6.6. )

2.00pm one Gin and tonic

5.30pm roast chicken breast with skin, buttered steamed cabbage, steamed cauli and swede mashed with butter, chicken gravy made with chicken juice and a tiny bit of cornflour.

Last of the hm lc blueberry cheesecake.

Carb content is a guess 51g as some foods are a guestimate.

Fried onion, bell pepper, shawarma meat and garlic, on raw endive and with a nice sauce made with mayo, yoghurt, garlic, hot sauce and chives. :hungry:

I've decided I really like the effect of the cold water swimming (if not on my BG, it's a bit wild too wild for my tastes), so tomorrow I'm gifting myself neoprene socks and gloves, which should make the swimming doable even if the water gets colder than the current 9.5°C! :joyful:
