I do prefer it toasted with lots of butter ( as you can see!) I find it a bit dry and ‘bitty’ otherwise. I’m grateful for the recipe though, thank you. It’s lasted A long time in the freezer, I just take a slice out now and again when I’m in the mood for a hearty meal.
Perhaps experiment with a little more olive oil to avoid dryness @DJC3 or add an extra egg for a more moist loaf. Lashings of butter makes the perfect partner. A single slice is remarkably filling!

L- salad with all sorts of things followed by DGF cake and cream.
D- Pot roast silverside of beef with sprouts and broccoli.
@Antje77 I feel for you with the coffee disaster. I get very upset if I can’t start the day with a good coffee. Glad you made it safely home, what a lovely neighbour!

Too tired and busy winding down from holidays to cook, so my main meal was a slice of LC bread with butter and marmite, two rashers of English bacon that still looked and smelled good after traveling with me for almost a week, and two very small chicken eggs I found in my garden today. :)

Haven't been for groceries yet since coming back from holidays, but I still had some leftover cheese and I found 4 onions in my kitchen.
This called for onion soup!
The luxury version too, usually it's a vegetarian soup with grated cheese for protein, but I'd brought bacon from England so I added two rashers of that as well. :hungry:

I didn't really have time for lunch today, so I just had some cashews and a packet of spicy jalapeno pork scratchings. I didn't have a lot in for dinner, so I chopped up the last of the bacon, roughly scrambled a few eggs, and fried it all up with some garden peas and half a pouch of rice (~30g carbs).

Dinner: Went to Mowgli this evening, I had Keralan chicken curry with Mowgli coleslaw and half a roti bread. I took a pic but it was rubbish, it was all blurry! :banghead:

Sharing yesterday's food as extra special: Brunch 1 avocado, Dinner: usual small container of mixed nuts, this time brazils, hazelnuts, walnuts and almonds, then slow-roast beef small-rib in Guinness and butter with sweet chestnuts (therefore not keto but still low carb) mushrooms, garlic, dash of Lee & Perrins, cabbage, cauliflower and tenderstem broccoli. Today I will braise the bone slowly as a base for lumpy soup. Oh my it was good. Small but exquisite glass of red wine afterwards.
