What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

We’re away for a few days so eating out mostly. Yesterday breakfast at home of scrambled eggs and avocado.
Lunch. Small rump steak salad which was absolutely delicious.
Dinner at a Turkish restaurant was mixed meat mezze. Chicken wings, chicken kebab, lamb kebab, chicken and lamb koftas. Rice and chips and salad served too, Paul ate a few chips but there was so much meat they were superfluous.

@DJC3 sounds like some exceptional meals out enjoy.
Breakfast kefir then one slice of bacon and two poached eggs
Lunch same as yesterday slice of low carb bread toasted then cooled and spread with organic soft cheese and topped with smoked trout and lemon followed by one square of 90% chocolate.

Dinner Sea bream with green beans followed by hm LC chocolate brownie warmed and served with spoon of cream.
 
Coffee and cream x 2
Coffee and unsweetened almond milk
Cheese and tomato omlette
Cottage cheese and tomato
 
Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: LC cauliflower cheese with runner beans and baby carrots.

B- eggs and avocado again in our holiday cottage.
A wander round the local shops and back to the cottage for lunch of cheese and leftover Turkish kebab meat.
D- Out at a gastropub near where we’re staying. Local caught fish and chips on the menu but they happily did me a grilled fish ( hake) and salad instead of chips. I did eat rather too many

of the crushed peas and the tartare sauce but I considered it a birthday treat!
Ps Forgot to add 2 glasses Sauvignon blanc.

Breakfast kefir then mushrooms and a poached egg on low carb toast
Lunch piece of left over frittata
Cooked a low carb coffee and walnut cake using panda flour lots of pieces in the freezer for next few weeks

Dinner had cooked beef in slow cooker with beefstock, a few carrots and onions served with cauliflower mash

Afterwards had to try a piece of my low carb coffee and walnut cake with a cup of decaffeinated and very tasty so good job it's stashed in pieces in freezer!

Dinner: scrambled egg on LC toast spread with Marmite.

Didn't have the chicken legs because I forgot to get them out of the freezer!! So I had a smoked trout sandwich with 2 squares of 70% chocolate from Lidls. My son Paul is coming for breakdast which will be Bratwurst and eggs. Don't know what we are doing for lunch yet. Have a lovely day all. :happy:

Breakfast kefir followed by two poached eggs on low carb toast
Lunch goats cheese with a few lc seeded crackers
Dinner hm chicken curry with hm LC roti followed by hm LC chocolate brownie.
Today
Breakfast bacon and poached egg
Lunch goats cheese and LC crackers
Dinner Youngest son gifted me, for mothers day, a wonderful fillet steak from his local butchers in Wales - grass fed. Served with button mushrooms, a few tomatoes and onions very tasty and filling

Scrambled eggs and avocado for breakfast.
Lunch - a big family affair to celebrate my birthday last week and daughters this week. I bought a whole beef fillet and made beef wellington. (I didn’t eat the pastry of course) served with stringless green beans and cauli mash. Supposed to have steamed greens too but I forgot them ( found in the steamer after lunch!)
1 glass white wine this evening and a piece of cheese.

Food exactly the same as yesterday, but why does pizza, even LC ones, taste better reheated the following day?

I forgot, what do you use as a pizza base?
I'm pretty sure it's something not available here but you never know...

Lunch at family weekend not suitable for this thread and not really suitable for my diabetes either.
Evening meal was a slice of lc toast with butter, marmite and cheese, and a couple of slices of liverwurst, shared with dogs and cats.
