What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast: L/c toast topped with avocado and scrambled egg.
Lunch: lettuce boats filled with cream cheese, red pepper, avocado and a splash of hot sauce.
Dinner: a couple of homemade curries - chicken madras and saag paneer ( but I used cauliflower leaves instead of spinach). A dollop of yoghurt on the side. No rice or bread needed with this, it was quite substantial.

One of those days where I wasn't prepared and couldn't get proper food.
Coffee and cream
2 Cups of tea with 2 small cup cakes!
Smoked salmon...
Hi Filly, one of those days again, forgot the password!
Mini chocolate muffins and hot chocolate today I need comfort food and blood glucose not too bad. Had a busy few days.

I've been told off by paramedics, usually with litle experience. My Husband has a neurodegenerative disease, needs emergency hospital trips at times. This time , just had new vinyl in kitchen, so medicines and food in the hallway. Told off by a young lady who I assume has servants to look after her. Also told off no fire escape, she never saw the patio door opposite the bed. Our life journeys are all different, I hope I've learnt a lot in 72 years but I am still learning. I've just had different experience to her. Best wishes for your diabetic journey, keep testing and follow the forum. Carolm

Breakfast yesterday was 2 boiled eggs.
Lunch was sardines on L/c toast.
Out for dinner. A rare treat for me to be able to choose from pretty much anything on the menu - it was nearly all low carb! I chose scallops to start with crispy pancetta and a trio of grilled fish in garlic butter to follow ( bream, sea bass and hake). Bowls of seasonal veg served with it. 1 small glass white wine.

Today just black coffee this morning, then Aquafit class.
Lunch was mackerel in olive oil, avocado and 1 cherry tom. A small handful Montezuma’s AB buttons to follow.
Dinner- beef shin cut horizontally so included a section of marrowbone. ( from Waitrose meat counter) Cooked slowly with just a couple of spoonfuls of h/m stock. Stirred the melted marrow into the liquid at the end. Buttered cabbage with it and a glass of red wine.
