Dinner tonight was a lovely, tender sirloin steak, with peas, carrots and half a tomato. Basic, but lovely.
looks yummy. how do you cook your steak? i can never get it tender so I've given up trying to cook it. but I would love to be able to do it properly and enjoy it.Dinner tonight was a lovely, tender sirloin steak, with peas, carrots and half a tomato. Basic, but lovely.

I used to cook it on a high heat in a steel pan, but despite opening the windows, the smoke used to get a bit overpowering. I now use an air fryer: 230⁰C for 6 minutes and let it rest for 10 minutes.looks yummy. how do you cook your steak? i can never get it tender so I've given up trying to cook it. but I would love to be able to do it properly and enjoy it.
Very well done to you. I would be starving on what you eat but it clearly works for you. XBreakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: gammon steak with mixed salad.

@DJC3 I'm curious what does the H and B konjac rice taste like?
@Rachox congratulations on your HbA1c very impressive - well done
Breakfast kefir then two poached eggs on low carb toast
Lunch left over frittata
Dinner left over roast chicken with a large salad. Then had a low carb home made chocolate brownie.
My rhubarb crop is good this year so I have plans to make the upside down rhubarb and ginger cake using Panda flour. All my low carb baking to date using Panda flour and their recipes have worked well for me so I'm crossing fingers - if it works will post photo.
