Ingredients
To make Apple Pudding, you'll need:
  • 3 medium Cooking apples peeled sliced Vegetable cooking spray
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Reduced-cal margarine Sugar substitute to equal
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Skim milk

Method

  • Arrange apple slices in button of an 8" square baking pan coated with cooking spray
  • Set aside
  • Combine flour baking powder and salt stirring until blended
  • Set aside
  • Combine margarine sugar substitute rind and vanilla in a medium bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended
  • Add egg; beat until fluffy
  • Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with milk beginning and ending with flour mixture
  • Spoon batter into prepared pan and bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean
  • Cut into 6 squares and serve hot
