To make Baked Ham, you'll need:
  • 1 Ham
  • Dry mustard powder
  • Whole cloves

Method

  • Precooked hams are widely available both in cans and in the meat display case of your local market.
  • Place the ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Score the surface of the ham and season with dry mustard powder and stud with whole cloves.
  • Heat precooked ham in a 325 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes per pound of ham. According to the National Live Stock and Meat Board, "fully cooked," or precooked, hams should reach a temperature of 140 degrees when they are heated for serving hot.
  • Trim ham of separable fat before serving.
