To make Basic Tomato Pizza, you'll need:
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough - (10 oz) Cornmeal as needed
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp crushed dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp crushed dried basil
  • 2 plum tomatoes - (6 oz total) thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Open the dough package and on a lightly floured surface roll out to roughly form a 10-inch circle
  • Place the crust on a cookie sheet which has been lightly sprinkled with cornmeal
  • Finish shaping by pulling and stretching the dough.
