Ingredients
To make Beef Burger with Onion and Rocket, you'll need:
  • 500g lean beef mince 
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped 
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped 
  • 1 tbsp. mint, finely chopped 
  • 1 tbsp. parsley, finely chopped 
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil 
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Method

  • Pre-heat the oven to Gas Mark 6 or 200c. 
  • Pop the beef mince into a mixing bowl. 
  • Mix in the chopped mint, garlic and parsley, and season well with salt and freshly ground pepper. 
  • Split the mixture into 4 portions and shape each one into round burgers. 
  • Place on a lightly greased baking tray in the preheated oven for 10 minutes on one side and 10 minutes on the other until cooked through. 
  • The beef burgers are great served with caramelised onions on a bed of rocket.
