Ingredients
To make Deviled Cornish Hens, you'll need:
  • 2 Cornish hens skin removed
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Red wine
  • 1 tbsp Sherry extract
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 3 tbsp Dry bread crumbs

Method

  • Split hens in half down the back
  • Place in a shallow pan
  • Combine remaining ingredients except bread crumbs and pour over hens
  • Marinate several hours turning occasionally
  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Sprinkle half of the bread crumbs over hens
  • Bake 30 minutes
  • Turn hens sprinkle with remaining crumbs
  • Bake 30 minutes more.
