To make Fettuccine Alfredo, you'll need:
  • 2 tsp margarine
  • 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 4
  • 1/2 tsp all-purpose flour
  • 1
  • 1/2 cups fat-free (skim) milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3
  • 1/2 tsp Neufchâtel cheese
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-ground white pepper
  • 4 oz hot cooked fettuccine
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Method

  • Melt margarine in medium saucepan
  • Add garlic
  • Cook and stir 1 minute
  • Stir in flour
  • Gradually stir in milk
  • Cook until sauce thickens stirring constantly.
