To make Ginger Wonton Soup, you'll need:
  • 4 oz lean ground pork
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp minced fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Chinese
  • 5-spice powder
  • 20 fresh or thawed frozen wonton skins
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cans fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth (14
  • 1/2 ea)
  • 2 tsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 oz fresh pea pods
  • 1 can baby corn - (8
  • 3/4 oz) rinsed drained
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced

Method

  • Cook pork in small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes or until no longer pink
  • Cool slightly; stir in ricotta cheese cilantro black pepper and 5-spice powder.
