Ingredients
To make Gingered Fruit Cup, you'll need:
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Or Sugar sub equal
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 3 slice Fresh Ginger (1/8" thick)
  • 1 small Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 pt Strawberries hulled and Halved if large
  • 1 lb Seedless Green Grapes
  • 1 Cantelope

Method

  • Bring sugar water ginger and cinnamon stick to boiling in small sauce pan stirring constantly to dissolve sugar
  • Lower heat simmer uncovered for 10 minutes
  • Strain through sieve into a bowl
  • Cool to room temperature
  • Add strawberries and grapes to syrup
  • Quarter cantelope
  • Remove seeds
  • Cut into wedges then crosswise into bite size pieces
  • Add to bowl
  • Refrigerate covered until cold serve.
