To make Lentil Soup, you'll need:
  • 100 c Red lentils
  • 200 Celery stalks; chopped
  • 400 c Vegetable stock or water
  • 100 sm Potato; chopped 025 c Onion; chopped 025 c Lean ham; chopped
  • 200 Bay leaves 025 ts Black pepper

Method

  • Mix all ingredients in a stockpot and cook until lentils are very soft about 1-2 hours
  • Remove bay leaves and serve warm.
