Ingredients
To make Marinara Sauce, you'll need:
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 can tomatoes - (16 oz) with their liquid
  • 1 can tomato paste - (6 oz)
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp minced fresh basil Salt to taste Freshly-ground black pepper to taste

Method

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat heat the oil
  • Add the garlic and onion and saute for 3 minutes.
