To make Middle Eastern Sandwiches, you'll need:
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed pepper and onion stir fry
  • 3 tbsp chopped tomato
  • 1 tbsp dark raisins
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 pinch dried thyme leaves
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 small whole-wheat pita bread cut in half

Method

  • In a medium non stick skillet coated with non stick spray combine the pepper onion mixture tomato raisins garlic thyme and cinnamon
  • Stir to mix well
  • Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon until the onions are softened about 2 to 3 minutes.
