To make New York Cheesecake, you'll need:
  • CHEESECAKE
  • 1
  • 1/4 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 4 tbsp margarine melted
  • 3 packets Equal sweetener = (or
  • 1 tspn Equal for Recipes or
  • 2 tbspns Equal Spoonful)
  • 2 packages reduced-fat cream cheese - (8 oz ea) softened
  • 1 package fat-free cream cheese - (8 oz) softened
  • 18 packets Equal sweetener = (or
  • 5
  • 1/2 tspns Equal for Recipes or
  • 3/4 cup Equal Spoonful)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pt strawberries (optional) sliced STRAWBERRY SAUCE
  • 1 package frozen unsweetened strawberries - (16 oz) thawed
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 6 packets Equal sweetener = (or
  • 1
  • 3/4 tspns Equal for Recipes or
  • 1/4 cup Equal Spoonful)

Method

  • Mix vanilla wafer crumbs margarine and 3 packets of Equal sweetener or 1 teaspoon Equal for Recipes or 2 tablespoon Equal Spoonful in bottom of 9-inch springform pan
  • Reserve 1 tablespoon of crumb mixture
  • Pat remaining mixture evenly on bottom and 1/2 inch up the side of the pan
  • Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until crust is lightly browned about 8 minutes
  • Cool on wire rack.
