To make Nutty Brussels Sprouts 2, you'll need:
  • 3 pt Brussels sprouts Or
  • 16 oz (2 pks) brussels sprouts frozen
  • 2 tbsp Butter Or
  • 2 tbsp Margarine
  • 1/4 cup Peanuts coarsely chopped

Method

  • Trim stems from brussels sprouts.
  • Remove wilted leaves; wash.
  • Cut large sprouts in half lengthwise.
  • Cook the sprouts covered in a small amount of boiling salted water for 10 to 15 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • (If using frozen cook according to package directions.) Drian.
  • Add butter or margarine and toss gently.
  • Place brussels sprouts in serving bowl.
  • Sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Serves 6.
