To make Oven Barbecued Chicken, you'll need:
  • LOW CHOLESTEROL
  • 1 Fryer chicken (2
  • 1/2 to
  • 3 pounds) cut into serving pieces skin removed
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Chili sauce or catsup
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Onion chopped (optional)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350* (moderate)
  • Combine all ingedients except chicken in saucepan place over heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes
  • Place chicken in a large baking pan
  • Pour half of the barbecue sauce over chicken and bake uncovered for about 45-60 minutes
  • Baste with remaining barbecue sauce every 15 minutes during cooking.
