Ingredients
To make Port Parfait, you'll need:
  • 1 tbsp granulated gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened orange juice
  • 1/2 cup port wine
  • 1/4 tsp pure orange extract
  • 1/4 tsp pure almond extract Sugar substitute equal to
  • 2 tbspns sugar
  • 1 small orange peeled sectioned

Method

  • Soak gelatin in cold water; dissolve in boiling water
  • Add all remaining ingredients except orange segments; mix well
  • Chill until it is the consistency of unbeaten egg whites; stir gently and spoon into four parfait or wine glasses
  • Chill until set.
