To make Spaghetti Bolognese, you'll need:
  • 100 ts Olive oil
  • 100 c Frozen chopped onions
  • 100 Celery stalk; thin sliced
  • 100 Carrot; thin sliced
  • 200 md Garlic cloves; crushed
  • 600 oz Ground lean beef 025 c Dry white wine
  • 200 c Canned tomatoes; crushed Orange zest from
  • 1 ornage Salt and pepper to taste
  • 800 oz Uncooked dry spaghetti

Method

  • Put 3-4 quarts water in a large pot to boil
  • Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet
  • Add onion celery and carrots
  • Saute about 10 minutes without browning
  • Add garlic and saute 2 minutes
  • Add the beef crumbling with a wooden spoon and cook until browned
  • Add wine and cook until all of the liquid is absorbed
  • Add the tomatoes and orange and gently simmer 20 minutes
  • Meanwhile add spaghetti to boiling water and cook 9 minutes or according to package instructions
  • Drain and serve sauce over pasta.
