To make Steak and Vegetables, you'll need:
  • 4 x 500g steaks 
  • 300g frozen peas 
  • 300g carrots, peeled and sliced 
  • 300g green beans, sliced 
  • 300g brocolli 
  • 4 tbsp. butter 
  • Salt to season

Method

  • Rub the salt onto the steak. 
  • Bring some water to the boil in a large saucepan. 
  • While the water is boiling, peel and chop your veg ready for cooking. 
  • Once this is done, lower the heat, throw in the veggies and cook for 5-10 minutes. 
  • In the meantime, pour the oil into a large, heavy based frying pan and heat to a medium/high heat. 
  • Place the steaks in the frying pan and sear for 5 minutes each side, until they are cooked to your taste. 
  • Enjoy with the side of mixed veggies!
