To make Tomato Basil And Mozzarella Salad, you'll need:
  • 1 lb large very ripe tomatoes
  • 2 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 dash freshly-cracked black pepper

Method

  • Slice tomatoes crosswise into 1/2-inch-thick slices 4 slices per tomato
  • Arrange 2 to 3 slices on each salad plate
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella on top of each tomato.
